Can anyone explain how I can die with a single shot?
My suit is an Assault vk.0 with 2 complex armor plates. I have 125 HP Shield and 413 HP Armor. That's a total HP of 538. If you take the most powerful sniper rifle (charge) which is what I have been hit with and even add 4 Complex Light Damage Modifers, which is the most high-powered module slots available (266x10%x10%x10%x10%) it only totals 389.45 HP, yet several times now I have been taken down with a single shot. I know there is at least one other possible multiplier, the Sniper rifle proficiency at 3% per level, so add in 389.45x3%x3%x3%x3%x3% and that still only adds up to 451.48 HP.
I'm not understanding how....explain please?

This was a charge sniper rifle every time. At least that's what it said in parenthesis. Would be nice if they listed the actual head shot multiplier. How do you know it exists? I haven't seen that communicated anywhere. Not saying it doesn't exist,, I just haven't seen it written anywhere. |

When you're aiming down sights at a target in range, most weapons give you a pop-up in the corner of the screen that shows stats about the target - one of the things it shows is "efficiency" which tells you how much damage you're going to deal when you pull the trigger. People have tested and confirmed that Sniper Rifles get 195% damage on headshots. Shotguns are about 160% I think, and other weapons have their own ratings. |

Took me a while digging around on these forums before I found out what half that info meant.
Also, just for perspective...
Militia Sniper Rifle = 190 damage. Weaponry level 5 = 10% bonus Sniper Rifle Proficiency level 5 = 15% bonus
190 x 1.1 x 1.15 = 240.35 damage on a body shot. 240.35 x 1.95 = 468.6825 damage for a headshot.
That's a Militia Sniper Rifle with no damage mods - train the right skills up and you're one-shotting most targets even with a junk fitting. |
