Can you tell if a tank/quad is a shield or armor based one?
same goes for dropsuits.
like, can someone upload a pic of the differences or something or do we just guess like : "oh my swarm didnt hardly hurt it it must be bla" |

you look at the info which pops up when you aim at something, you look at the name and you can tell from their, if for whatever reason you don't know the vehicle name, look at the amount of armour/shield, if you can't tell from that, there is no hope for you. |

If its curvy and green its Gallente which means armor, if its pointy and blue/gray its Caldari so shields. For dropsuits its mostly based on its tier in its category and the preference of the user. It tells you their individual health stats when you point at them while in range. |

Point your gun at the target in question and read off the Tacnet transcript. If there are more shields than armor, than it's a shield tanker. If more armor than shields it's an armor tanker. Pretty simple.
But if you don't want to point your gun, just look at the racial variant.
Gallente = Armor
Caldari = Shields
Type II Heavies/Assaults = Shields
Type II Scout = Armor

There really is no difference between "Armor" and "Shield" in scout variants. They only diverge by about 30 EHP no matter which suit you use, and that gap can easily be overcome with a single module. |

For Tanks:
If it has a yellowish-white glow, it is an armor tank activating a hardener.
If it has a bluish glow, it is a shield tank activating a hardener/booster. That's generally the fastest way to tell from a visual perspective.
When it kills someone, you can tell than. Soma, Madrugar, Surya = Armor. Sica, Gunnlogi, Sargaris = Shield |
