Forge guns remain an extremely powerful weapon without too too much skill (but definitely some, especially if you use the Assault), and the higher tier ones are pretty effective anti infantry as well.
I wouldn't go so far as to call them OP, just maybe a tad too strong / easy to use at the moment.
I agree that hitting a (moving) target with the charge holding variants takes some skill.
However I feel it takes me no skill to nail a 'coffin' flying anywhere with a militia forge. And for the damage it does I can take any ship down in <5 seconds.
forge guns might be a little too strong in general. militia are Definily too cheap, easy to use, easy to access, and too powerful. |
