If im reading THIS Correctly we will all be getting x3 xp each match every day for the next week starting tomorrow! and, not only that but the 7 day active boosters will be on a 40% discount sale. So what does this mean??
No# 1. If you haven't grinded for sp before now is the time! with x3 sp even if you hit the cap, it'll still be worth while playing because of..... well 3k a match is about as much sp you would get in normal ambush without boosters. This is an awesome (and unexpected) treat from ccp to me and to all of us IMO.
No# 2. Merc packs people! buy them up now! "but marston! why merc packs? there not the item on sale, the boosters are!" well that's because with every 40k AUR merc pack you buy you'll be able to purchase 'almost' (short by 2k) 10 seven day boosters. Then later down the road (when a market opens up) you could sell them for about 6k AUR a pop netting you 20k AUR. Or you could just use them yourself at a discount! its up to you.
No# 3. I would expect a huge boost in player count this coming week, if you guys don't want to play with a MAG like 300% sp bonus then Idk what would make you wanna play.... (aside from May 6th).
So yeah..... tomorrowwww yayyyy! ybkwaa u rirakkt nua ewas ainwrgubf < 5 points to whoever can break that code |

I believe you'll have to settle for selling the boosters for ISK down the line, but this is definitely the time to stock up.
Also *cough cough* I think I'm coming down with something. Definitely going to have to stay home from work tomorrow.

I don't see why people couldn't make AUR transactions if im being perfectly honest. In eve PLEX is an actual in-game item that can be moved from station to station (and is vulnerable at such times). That too is bought with real life money, but in DUST's case its even more convenient because the money you spend on the game is converted to a secondary currency (which in theory could be used in trades just as easily as ISK) To be honest id prefer it if we could make AUR in game just like we make isk. But im sure those decisions will be made eventually. |

Pretty sure a dev said recently there will never be player to player aurum transactions. I think it opens up routes for money laundering or something, though i may be wrong there.
You can only sell for isk in eve. I don't see dust ever being different in that regard. |

What I'm curious about is whether or not the actual SP cap is raised by 3x, or if you'll just hit your cap 3x faster. |

Fair enough, you do have a decent argument and I could understand the problems it brings.... idk I just feel like it would cutting out a nifty feature in the game, its not like you can sell AUR legally to people for real money. Though scamming would probably **** people off, idk will just have to see |

Knowing CCP it'll be cap faster and then you'll benefit from it after you've hit the cap. |

Direct AUR trading would open CCP up to legal action if someone got scammed. Not gonna happen. |

Wouldn't warning labels be put everywhere on it then?? It happens in eve all the time with things like PLEX. CCP would provide all the needed information that would allow someone to prevent from being scammed. They would just need to be vigilant is all. |

And also because the prices are set by CCP and will probably not change very often, if ever. There is no need for player to player transactions of AUR when there is no real market. Simply transferring AUR would but fine because it has a set value. But selling an item to another player for AUR will never happen. |

I am more interested in purchasing AUR items directly from CCP's store using ISK. Player trading will be one way to accomplish the purchase, but the market price will vary and it seems like it is a ways off still.... I wouldn't care if it was super expensive, I'd spend ISK for boosters. |
