Very simple idea.
Add an AUR cost to everything and an ISK cost to everything.
- No modified versions of anything or any kind of stat changes.
- Cosmetics are fine for AUR.
This way, people that pay AUR get the same as what isk players get but maybe faster/larger quantities.

Also there are only a very few AUR items that are actually an issue of any sort, there's a thread over here regarding that, but on the whole the AUR items are only a way for the impatient to get a taste of what having proper skills and fits (which require only ISK and SP) will feel like a little bit faster... but even then those cats running around with AUR fits are likely at a mechanical disadvantage compared to those using ISK gear of the same Meta Level because the ISK gear requires proper SP investment which comes with additional pay offs (in most cases) above and beyond a simple gear unlock.

That's because there's no market. The prices are static and the available quantity is infinite so price isn't affected by supply and demand. Really it isn't affected by anything but you get what I mean. These prices we have now are largely arbitrary and completely meaningless. |
