Yes the new weapons and suits and all that jazz is gonna be nice... but if the contacts list is still useless in letting you know whos online and who isnt. Im going to be somewhat irritated. This whole time ive played DUST ive always wondered why they never put some effort into fixing that feature... and i know they know its messed up considering they made the contacts list alphabetized.
Mail, why can i not delete more than one at a time? Why do i still have 2 unopened messages, when i dont have any in my inbox because i spent 45 minutes deleting them all. lol
When using a keyboard, why is there not a cursor when navigating menus?
Are the controls still gonna feel like trudging in mud when using a DS3?
Will the hit detection/server latency and character telemetry have any solutions or slight fixes which make it seem like it isnt as broke as it is now?
Will the blueberries still suck...
All the these questions will be answered in time, ill be content if only one or two of these thought come to fruition... but if not one of these is fixed in the may 6th build, i dont quite know yet.... but it will most likely be more ranting on the forums. |

Yeah, I have to agree. The communications has been one of my biggest frustrations. The whole concept of a UVT ticks me off, not because I can't afford to buy them but because nobody else will, rendering them pretty useless.
I've heard that you'll at least be able to invite to squad from a channel. That's a HUGE one that annoys the kitten out of me.
It would also be nice to have the ability to post squad invites to a channel, like you can in EVE.
It would be nice to be able to link things in channels/emails like in EVE. I'm not sure how to achieve it on a DS3... Let me think... now I have to actually log into my PS3.
Ahah.
We could use R3 to start and finish the selection of what we want to link. It would then bring up a list of matches for characters, equipment, star systems, etc.
Anyway, yeah, I just wish we had half the tools that EVE has for communications and stuff.  |

PvE to be honest. Something different to break up the monotony. Constantly fighting on the same maps and such is quite draining. |

My hope and dream is all the silly QQ and barking @CCP will stop on May 6th... It is really exhausting ( ) to see all those QQ threads whining in advance of things to come and not quite known... Patience pays... Wait... Do Not Panic...

I hope people realize that Uprising isn't going to be the fix all build and some (if not most) of the lingering problems at Dust 514's core might still be there because CCP is still working on a proper fix or if it's not game breaking enough to be on their list of priorities. |

If you read what was being addressed in the build you would know that some of the very issues you moaned about are on the fix list. We will see how they turn out but if you focused on Angry Birds I would be ever so grateful.

contacts are kinda ****** up right now thats due to ccp having to go to PSN servers to verify players every ******* time, given that they are still struggling with load time for contacts its not surprising that additional feature tied to that are on hold.
channle uvts NEED to be implemented where a channel admin can buy a uvt for the channel , so every one can talk there, if this was available I buy them for all my corps channels.
what I really want to see beyond what they have annouced is a more playable game, actions are to unpredictable you never know how long a gun swap or grenade throw will take, every thing feels soooo laggy, half the time your rounds are not counted or go off at unpredictable times(+/-100ms is to long for precision weapons like the shotgun). polish is IMO what this build needs the most, so its less of a chore to play this game. FPSs thrive on things just happening so you can focus on the next challenge and not on how to compensate for the failures of the game. |
