Yea and no, It would give us peoples a chance to not die by strong officer weapons, but then again you lose good weapons. They are taking officer gear so it is what it is... |

I'll be glad to see officer gear gone for the first push of PC. Not a huge loss in the long run as we will just start receiving them as salvage again after the respec. |

Since there's no officer Mass Driver and I haven't fully specced into SMG enough to see if the officer variants are as OP as advertised, I'll manage. But if I had 50 "Commander Wang's Pink Assault Mass Drivers," yeah, I'd probably rage. |

Losing officer gear is equivalent to a 1/4 character reset (other 3/4 are stats, SP, and ISK). Therefore it is unacceptable if we lose it in place of ISK that is easy enough to stockpile just by playing the game for a few hours. Getting officer gear is unpredictable, ISK is a constant.
I don't mind getting ISK for purchasable salvage I have gotten, because since the player market isn't likely until 2014 the garbage I will never use will just sit and rot for months on end. Heck, once player trading opens up most of it would have been donated anyway, so might as well get something for it before that happens.
I really hope that salvage that I can re-purchase is transformed into ISK, I have so many useless A series/vk0 suits I will never use, it's beyond ridiculous. |

Even if you look at it like that, a 1/4 character reset is in no way unacceptable. It's not even something you earned, just something extra that's nice to get every now and then, hell, I've gotten most of my thales fby joining matches in the last 2 seconds.. |

I have 59 Balacs (lost one accidentally using it in a CB). so yeah. I'd be pretty miffed if they took them away.
Other than that though, Go ahead and take all my dropsuits I probably wont' use, and guns I probably won't use. Just leave my BPO gear (except my raven dropsuit.. I could use the AUR... lol) |

I won't care at all, the only thing that will bother me is if my skinweave and special event suits are gone (Black Eagle, State Protectorate, etc).
Even if those are gone... meh, they're just things. |

i have 20 krins assualt rifles 20 wolfman scrambler pistols and 20 of the hmg's sorry i forget the name. i plan to keep 5 of each to give to my main toon on eve to add to my ship and other rare items collection. so while id be a bit guttted i wouldnt rage can always get them again in time.
though i cant see ccp taking our officer weapons it may happen. ccp have already said speciel edition event items wont be going anywhere. |

Considering there are some players with 10k kills who have only received 10 Kirins and 10 balacs that sucks. They've been saving them forever. I'd take the weapons I have over getting isk for them. Take everything but the officer salvage. **** I have 130 mill just in Eryx and Prometheus salvage, but leave my balacs alone, or at least tell me how much ill get for them so I can decide if I should use them before they are taken. |

I would also be mad if CCP replaced my character's hands with bananas and made it so that 'Banananhands' displayed on the killfeed instead of my toon's name.

For some reason I rarely get salvage so I don't have that much officer gear; when what little I have is gone I'll laugh my butt off because that means everyone else has lost theirs and are probably pissed off. |

I would honestly PREFER everything with an ISK value to be removed and refunded.
if they held to that, you could go buy back whatever you actually use, andhave the isk from all the useless stuff to buy more of what you use, or help fund PC activities for your corp.
officer gear has ZERO isk (or even AUR for that matter) value so there is no reason to remove them |
