Google failed me Empyrean is what the capsuleers are called by the amarrians, since we're of not the same cloth as so eggers but not to be left behind i found Elysian to be a good similar tem to adopt on the same manner. Now if we can only figure a word far more suitable than mercenary as there are plenty of not so immortal mercenaries in New Eden.

The book "Templar One" is also pretty good at the general explanation behind the tech and the first soldiers to get it.

I'd also suggest nephilim, it doesn't sound as good, but i think it fits better.
