Several places.
But basically unlike the empyreans which are tested and trained for anyone can become an elysian.
Just the technology cannot be trusted to anyone however and there is quite a bit given up for the immortality so most subjects are tested phsycologically, then the training for the soldiers is very intense, involves quite a bit of dying.
The best crops for the dust soldiers are ex-patriots, prior military, best of the special forces and many more sources where the individual would be already used to the all the fighting. |

Empyrean is what the capsuleers are called by the amarrians, since we're of not the same cloth as so eggers but not to be left behind i found Elysian to be a good similar tem to adopt on the same manner.
Now if we can only figure a word far more suitable than mercenary as there are plenty of not so immortal mercenaries in New Eden. |

Stranded
This storyline is pretty sweet, 8 part story on dust514.com that sort of gives the backstory of Balac (whom you may know as the guy your awesome assault rifles are named after) and how he becomes a clone soldier.
The book "Templar One" is also pretty good at the general explanation behind the tech and the first soldiers to get it. |

Elysian is a good fitting name, it sits well with Empyrean, I like it
Some alternatives to consider Rephaim Avatars (but this is already used by the titan ship) or simply Dust soldiers or dusters... (dusters to clean up the grounds... haha get it)
Thanks Nova for the info |

Elysian isn't an official term yet, I just started that campaign today after the discussion of what to call ourselves other than mercenaries. Going to poke CCP Eterne when I run into him about it.
The book is official and its a good read. |

I think the population in New Eden would actually call them undead soldiers, or simply dusters if the term dust has meaning |
