• At 10, I drew a crowd at the Smithsonian Institute being the first person to fly and land a Cessna-type plane in another flight sim.
• Ace Combat vet.
• AH-64 Longbow sim vet.
• Warhawk vet.
• Impressed Air Force pilots after flying mock combat and free fly missions in a simulator used to train F-16 pilots.
• Impressed remote control pilots after throwing the plane I was training on out of control on purpose, and regaining control a few seconds later. That day was also my first time flying a remote control plane.

And last but not least,

• Landed a Boeing (either 757, 767, or 777) at Narita airport (Japanese airport) in a flight sim arcade game.

I'm inclined to think the "fighters" they'll be showing us at Fanfest are probably just the "Assault Dropships" that people found in SIngularity.

I used to fly F22 Raptors, but all I do nowdays is test experimental aircraft for the USAF.

One of the only reasons I played this game was because of the flying.

For me, aircraft in the sky are part of what make me feel like I'm in an actual warzone. I mean, I love large-scale multiplayer games, but I love them even more when I can be providing support for the gun guys or taking out other aircraft.

Completely agree. Nothing gives me more satisfication in this game then seeing a dropship being utilized effectively, even if its the other team. Cause you KNOW it takes teamwork, skill, and big ole balls to pull off right.
