From the concept album by progressive metal band Coheed and Cambria, "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3".
Ten years before Silent Earth, the children of a lost war now fight to regain what their parents had killed themselves over. This isnt an original song or anything but you guys should get some rights for Deltron 3030. The album is riddled with appropriate lyrics (ex. uploading viruses, crushing corporations, mech warriors, futuristic spacecrafts, post-apocalyptic worlds, planet jumping, etc)
i play the album about half the time i play the game anyway. |

Here's some fabulous synthpop for you.
I apologize for my terrible vocals and mastering, I don't have talent nor patience honestly, but I do think the song itself is decent.
I tried writing the lyrics from the perspective of dust soldiers who are dealing with things like finding work after the events of uprising, their newfound immortality, how mercenaries will never quite accomplish what the same things that EVE players, but they are still relevant in their own special way.

Here is my entry.
It's a voyage into Eve Universe, from space to land.
1st movement: A Threat's Approaching
2nd movement: The Battle
3rd movement: A Suffered Victory
4th movement: The Calm
5th movement: On The Ground
Basically it's a story. in the first movement there's a threat approaching in eve universe. In the second movement there's a battle in space. The third movement is the typical victory theme, with a note of sadness (war is not always good uh?). 4th movement is basically a preface, a journey from orbit to ground. 5th movement is the war on the ground that's still up.
The entire song has been composed by me. No pre made loop used.

The winners are in! We had a blast listening to all the entries and you showed us that your creativity has no limits.
All entries were judged by their mix of creativity, lyrics, fun element and overall effort to make their song unique and reflect DUST 514 in best way possible.
So without further ado, the winners are:
1)New Valklears from Vaerana Myshtana - While there is no actual music, the singing effort and lyrics completely surprised us in the most positive way!
2)One Universe from Ervan Turalyon - Both audio and video team definitely liked the energy behind the song which came out very catchy to all of us!
3)RAP 514 from VicBoss - Audio team really liked the fact that this pieces used in-game sounds to amplify the entire DUST 514 feeling in the song!
The top 3 will be contacted via their PSN email and prize distribution will be coordinated accordingly.
