That is understandable. However, what is the value of Officer (Rare Item) salvage? There is no value associated with them. Does that mean they are priceless? All of these items should be kept for future trade and replaced with working items if they no longer work.
There are to many unknowns and I hope CCP sticks to their statement of releasing an Excel document with the new skill tree and weapons specs by the 25th of April. I will be highly disappointed if the don't. |

When will the Excel sheet with the new skill tree be posted as stated in the podcast? I look forward to reviewing before the release of uprising. |

I came here looking for this comment. What's your source on this? Has there been any news as to whether or not CCP will keep this schedule?
My source is Podcast #1, you can listen to it here: http://dust514.com/beta/news/2013/04/merc-cast-episode-1/
I do not have any news, but I am anxiously awaiting the spreadsheet as it should shed some light on the upcoming release. A detailed change list, feature description, or a manual would be awesome. However, not expected as CCP does not document well if at all. |

I figured that much. So far CCP does not impress me with their statements. They have not followed through on any that I have seen do far. Including not giving us our blueprints from the human endurance event.
I personally like the game or the idea of it. But CCP has to understand that we are not PC players and we console gamers expect our games to work as stated. The game needs action, depth, and clear information that are all available from the console.
I have hopes for uprising, but so far the game progresses very slowly. Other console developers are churning out new DLCs including maps, gear, and play expansion at a rate that makes CCP look like they are from the dark ages. If they can not do the same they will end up going the way of the dodo bird... |

I am willing to wait for them to develop the game, but the communication is frustrating as hell. im my experience, these devs have way more direct communication with their player base than most others...easily. what more do some of you want short of Wolfman or Foxfour coming to your house for a one on one QA over tea and biscuits?
No. I want them to do what they say, cater the console game to console players, and release information that is readily available and useful. We are not PC gamers and do not have the options of people who are. Don't tell me you are going to do something and not do it . It is frustrating and unprofessional.
My corp is small and quite easily managed, but when a full 20% of the players just quit playing it is hard to maintain a player base that actually plays. It will get even worse as we move forward without clear concise information that is followed through on. |

You were definitely the only one complaining about it.
Just an FYI Goric, I am not the only one complaining about it, just the only one posting about it. And if everyone could read English they should also complain. I am not the one who wrote the blog post... And for the first week it did state "blueprints". |

There is no such thing as a blueprint copy in Dust 514, GENIUS... This is not EVE. We have equipment and we have blueprints. Blueprints never run out, they are defined by the blue background in the icon for the equipment. Otherewise they are bought and used up. When they allow us to produce and build our own equipment like in EVE, then we will have blueprint copies. Get your games straight then talk to me about DUST 514. Until then keep your EVE lingo in EVE. It does not exist here just like 99% of the other stuff we are still waiting for. |

Pay attention, foo- we don't buy items in Dust, we buy BPCs that are assembled into our clone fit when we spawn from a CRU. So 50 copies of dropsuit X is 50 BPC that will be built upon spawn. There is no walk-in closet in the merc quarters for your gear.
There is also no copy machine and if it is built upon spawn it is an original assembly. Just because it uses a specific design does not make it a copy. Just like when you buy a car, if you buy an F150 it is not a blueprint copy it is original. Any way you want to look at it the statement said BLUEPRINTS, not blueprint copies.
