So, I have noticed that the amount of epic events per game seems to go up in conjunction with my skill level at the scrambler pistol.
Any tips for making it even more epic?
What are some good pistols to use, in your opinion? |

Interesting. I have been aiming for center mass, hoping to get more hits. |

I prefer the assault to the standard or breach. Breach in theory is nice, but it gives the least DPS and the damage of headshots is so high regardless of which version you are firing, there isnt much of a need.
Perhaps with some damage modifiers the breach could one shot standard scout suits in the body, then it could have a use. As is, theres almost zero reason to use it other than "cool factor".
But either way, getting your skill up for the extra clip size is a must.
I find scrambler is best for three things:
Sneaking up on enemies for quick kills when they arent paying attention.
Killing enemies who are fighting squadmates or what not close by, being able to get a good angle that reduces their straifing allows you to kill them with ease.
Giving you a "punchers" chance at any fight where you would normally lose. For example, if an entire squad has you surrounded behind a rock and you are all by yourself, out of gernades, normally with other guns you have almost zero chance to survive or win. But you could, in theory, headshot them all as soon as they come around the rock and win.
This is a pro and a con, cause sometimes you get a little cocky and fight battles you shouldnt because "hey if I get that headshot!" |

Especially when they think that they are safely outside your range only to fall over dead. |

headshot x4.5 damage most are what 76 damage? 4.5x76x1.1=376 damage per shot. you can 2 or 3 most heavies before they even know it. (that 1.1 is from the skill weaponry which any ground guy should have pretty fast) |

My best, and worst, moments with the scrambler has been with the breach. It's my favorite variant because of how accurate and hard hitting it is, the rate of fire and clip size is hard to get used to though. I have camped a cru in ambush with it and killed 3 people with 3 shots, in a row. it's also great when going 1 on 1 with people because after you run out of ammo you can switch to the pistol and 1 or 2 shot them if you were able to get their armor low enough. |
