So what is happening?
The upcomming Dust 514 Uprising Beta Expansion is bringing many changes and you will literally will have to rethink on how to train your characters up, gear them out, and even the way you fight.
So how does that effect me?
This means several items and skills in Chomosome will no longer work in Uprising.
Panics
Do not fret my dear friend, CCP saw this as well and is going to run an automated script to right the wrongs you may have been given.
Reset
No.
Then what?
Refunds are going to be doled out.
So starting with skills what would happen on may 6th?
On May 5th If you have 8 million total skill points with 2 million skill points unspent and 6 million of it spent. On May 6th you will have 8 million total skill points unspent.
What about the skill books I bought and injected?
All skill books (injected or in inventory) are being returned to the 'Library' in return of their purchasable cost of may 5th.
What about the items you mentioned items!?
Various suits, vehicles, guns will not be functionally the same post may 6th such as the entire murader class of tanks are going away. So many of these items are also getting returned at their purchasable prices listed on may 5th.
But but I bought my items with real monies!
Those will also be refunded at their proper AUR price points found on may 5th levels.
But my merc pacs, officer loot, and special beta gear!!
The fate of these items are unknown for now awaiting full details from ccp concerning these special cases.
And what if I was one of the lucky guys that bought a bpo before the price jacking?
Also unknown, I doubt this issue will go unresolved
TL;DR!?
You get a free respec on skill points, you get paid back at the cost of your entire inventory, you get to start 'fresh' with abundant amounts of isk, aur, and skill points. |

Nice post as usual,

i took this to mean that we will keep all beta event rewards.

I am quite sure the 'Dragonfly' Scouts have to be 'reissued' as the Dragonfly Light Suit. Similar issues with skinweaves.
There is also a large collection of people who bought various Suits you cannot see anymore. For example my own rusted red and stainless steel heavy suit I like to sport in the War Barge will likely go poof. |

Also unknown, I doubt this issue will go unresolved The dev blog actually answers this question pretty clearly.
The refund of any AUR items will be treated as their CURRENT price at the time of the refund. If the new prices in Uprising are still higher than we paid, then we get back more AUR than we originally bought - but still only enough to repurchase what we already have - if we choose to do so. |

I would rather have questions about this issue than let it be. Be awful to tell the merc pack guys to stop being greedy then not turning around and condemning this scenario as well. That's just wrong of me. |

Are you sure we're being given the price back for all items? I read the blog and the impression I got was that we would be refunded for any discotinued or vastly altered items. |

And it would be wrong of me to not point out that this is a nice reward to those who were willing to drop funds on the game early, and additionally mention that customers asking to be given what they paid for is definitely not "greedy". |

Iron Wolf Saber's thread inspired me to post a separate thread regarding something that has me concerned about novelty items that are technically not reward items. |

Daily Bump, no updates to any lingering questions.
I made this FAQ because I was getting a bit tired of answering the question every time it popped up.
Will continue to bump daily until blog is released. |

If it turns out our officer weapons are going poof then I will apologize now for relentlessly spamming Gastuns HMG's and Forge guns in public matches.
Although they have no assigned value as of now so I'm still hoping they're safe. |

Just saying...
And yes, the primary reason for me posting is to bump the thread. Questioning you about this is less important |

I'm not sure we'll be losing that much of our inventory. |

10:35[CCP]Karidor: Wrath: from what I know only items that can be re-bought on the market will be removed from the assets. Special stuff and rewards like the Creodron Jeeps, the skinweaves, Exiles etc. will stay where it is. 10:36GeneralButtNaked: o7 Karidor, thanks for the input |

10:39[CCP]Karidor: Jak: due to the kind of drastic nature of the changes, yes, all market items from what I understand (remember, I am mainly an EVE guy, so I may not have the most current info on this).
Thanks for the update but until I get a solid answer i am not changing anything. |

Well based on the IRC chat, most of those cannot be bought will be kept and likely renamed/reitemed. |
