Considering the latest blog and how they're going to take all your items away and just pay in aurum and isk.

PSN Dev Blog wrote:Note that the respec only applies to your current skills, and items that you have in your inventory. The refund value of ISK and AUR items will be based on the market value at the time of the respect.

Just saying your entire inventory is going to get wiped out from the sounds of it, we're not sure on the purchased items or special gifts are going to be returned based on the EULA. |

And I just got done reading SCEA's terms of service... well lets just say the language isn't in customers favor. The TL;DR basically stating for the greater good and the entire legalese is going to be worded in such a way to avoid lawsuits.
As for what to do?
I say don't know what they're going to do. I know there is going to be a massive price drop on quite a few aur gear and items post may 6th so I may say hold onto it as part of my advice. You may come out ahead post may 6th launch.
Also the horrific issue of those who bought BPOs before the price jacks are going to basically get 'free aurum' because of the change. |

I been told by a dev who voices on the panel for prices there should be a drop. |

I don't want to be a stickler, but I'd rather heed the warning signs.
Those will be kept, if you have 8 million with 2 million unspent skill points on the 5th youll have 8 million skill points unspent on the 6th. |

Nobody knows I been told by a dev who voices on the panel for prices there should be a drop. So will the refund use current market values, or uprising market values? It says "at the time of the respec", but I'm not sure if that's before or after the downtime.
Should be current prices and 'market value' |

See that's what I am also afraid of disheartening as well, I mean I have some rust red and steel heavy suits I wear in the barge and they're getting deleted likely. |

Covert Clay wrote:OK can some one please clarify? We WONT get back our AUR used on SP boosters. We WONT get back AUR spent on dropsuits and lost in battle. But we WILL get back our AUR spent on unused SP boosters? Does this mean the smart thing to do would be to load up on AUR gear before the respec so that we actually make AUR off this? Because from the looks of it if we don't spend our AUR on something then we would have the same exact amount of AUR after the respect as we did before even though the prices went up 2x. Or have I misunderstood?
ALSO: do you guys think we will get more or less AUR from a merc pack bought after the respect compared to before?
I been trying to get this answered mostly about already consumed boosters. |

I don't want to be a stickler, but I'd rather heed the warning signs. Those will be kept, if you have 8 million with 2 million unspent skill points on the 5th youll have 8 million skill points unspent on the 6th. Good to know. Since they announced respec, I've been toying with new skills anyways. I don't understand how this isn't understood....you can only refundsomething that you SPEND. How could they give you back SP that you already have...? I swear you guys are all panicking for no good reason. This postulation begs another more important question: WHY DO YOU HAVE 2 MILLION SP UNALLOCATED?
"I was told by Ironwolf we're getting new covert ops suits and I wanted to save SP so I can go max proto on those suits on day one!" |
