Y'know, par for the course with CCP, where everything is either officially unofficial or unofficially official. And with at least one thread surviving several days through moderator purges of the forum without being touched. Tacit acceptance of the thread doesn't prove it's true, but makes it seem less likely to be a troll attempt. No, CCP Eterne (at least, I'm pretty sure it was Eterne... certain it was a CCP employee posting from a CCP account) has already stated in at least one thread that this is what they are doing. That's where the "rumor" came from. A post by a CCP Dev in one of these threads telling us that they will be rolling out a "Reimbursement Program" that we will be "hearing more about SOON(tm)" (paraphrasing, obviously).

Tried looking for the post, it seems to have mysteriously "disappeared". But I do clearly remember Eterne saying that CCP is working on a reimbursement program, the details of which will be revealed at a later date. |

I am not sure that I recall the post the same as you guys. Are we talking about the thread asking why the no reset sticky was removed? If so, I think that Eterne said that there would be a blog posted on the subject, not confirm a reimbursement program.
