Sometimes, installations just hate people- like the most recent time I played ambush OMS (I VERY rarely play ambush- when I do, it's OMS) First, there was a supply depot that landed on the person I was about to revive. Later, I was on a small turret of an HAV, and a turret landed directly in front of where the HAV was about to drive. |

I lost a gunloggi in an OMS to a supply depot on ashland once about a month ago. I have only played about 4 ambush OMS since then and will not call in a tank in this gamemode.
Kind of like that NULL cannon to DS someone mentioned. I saw a DS get destroyed the enemy MCC's rockets while he was landing people ontop of our MCC. The kill feed actually read "Charsis (missle) xxxxxxx" |

In case if you don't already know, installations always spawn in the exact same spots on OMS, but their spawn times are random. Once you get used to where things drop, you can avoid them entirely or even take advantage of them. I managed to unintentionally lure a Segaris under a falling rail turret once. I think he rage quitted the battle before his tank even blew up. |

I wouldn't get too used to that, we may very well be seeing a huge influx of maps with Uprising, because in order to open up planets to PC, they need to have the terrain and slotting system primarily functioning.
Exciting times, very optimistic for Fan Fest. |
