I have no idea how far back the thread is now (at least 3 pages), but there was one on this topic.
It's been asked, and when I last saw it, there had been no official word.
There's been mention of a new character creator, and a lot of people are hoping we get to rebuild our characters using it, but there hasn't even been confirmation of that fact.
I can safely say that we WILL have a "starting class" under the new system (it's not confirmed, but it's logical), and that the starting classes will have some form of preset skills like they do in the current build (and have done in previous builds). There are two clear possibilities that I can see happening.
1. We get to re-create our characters, keeping their skill points, but being able to rebuild everything else about them from scratch. This means we can re-select race, gender, and starting class, making it easier to start with the skills most relevant to our interests and future plans.
2. We keep our current characters as created, and our starting class remains, with only those "base" skill points used, and the rest free to be spent on anything of our choice. |

Hey garret, while we are talking about it, will we get all the SP back we got by using boosters? Or will we just get the SP we got without the boosters and our AUR refunded for those boosters? We haven't got any straight answers about AUR being reset, Merc Pack contents beign credited back, booster SP being removed/kept, or anything else along those lines.
A lot of questions need to be answered, and I'm hoping for answers soon instead of SOONGäó. |
