i just looked up the voting system on the skill cap....it was 27k daily sp..ludicris...
everyone hates it .
this is like some cheap rpg game made from a website by some crook.. on the pc where you can buy stuff to upgrade character slightly faster.
and its crawled onto PSN..shame on sony |

Plays for 1 week, expects to have all protos dropsuits, weapons, equipment, etc,etc.
2 Reasons why the cap exists:
1- To promote longer gameplay, when people hit the cap after aprox 30-40 matches, im pretty sure no one is going to play until it gets reseted (every wednesday)
2- To make people actually consider buying boosters, cuz you know, thats what they are all about, boosting.
I hope this post wasnt too complex for your logic. |

I would prefer if more people camped the MCC. Just like all mmrpgs you gain exp by doing mundane repetitive tasks. In this game it is shooting stuff...hacking etc ....however, because some people are horrible at fpses because it takes twitch skill and situational awareness that most RPGs do not require they put in the "for your time SP". Now this for your time SP just happens to be about 75-80% of your total SP no matter how well you perform during the match. So while I would complain about a guy going 0-10 in a game and getting 200 WP, you guys complain about someone who doesn't have a negative effect on the score. You guys act like AFKers are cheating the system, when SP is a virtual thing and this type of accruing isn't commonplace in every other mmrpg. |

Hey look a Newberry!!
I remember back in April of 2012 we had two hundred thousand sp per game and on my best games I did four hundred thousand sp per game.
Hey Newberry get a grip.
The sp system is much more balanced than when we tossed dirt clods at each other then were were given advanced technology and thus we discovered throwing rocks was much better.

Simple:
1) by squadding up only one person needs to do the joining, allowing others to afk with spawn click only

3) by squadding up you bring more afk into one side of match, resulting in faster matches and faster isk/loot
Afk farming is primarily about isk and gear, not sp.
SP is done weekly as a side product, you get that in one day's worth of decent play.
E.g. I personally just donated 150M of afk farmed isk to corp for PC. Are you contributing the best you can? |

I think it is there to help curb the crying. How many tears would pour if the really good players or the players who can play all the time did not get capped? Lots. People would have proto gear in two days and more tears. The tanks would be unstoppable and more tears. Noobs can't get a foothold and more tears. See where I am going? No cap is bad for this game. If you put your first 2 weeks of SP into skills that compliment your play style then there is not problems. Being a noob in DUST is hard but that is life. |

for me this is the same case as mining bots in EvE and should be punished accordingly, CCP should remove the stuff aquired. have fun with negative wallets and no SP.
what stops people with multiple PS3 run several characters at once and farm isk for their corp? I could do this, I have 2 working PS3 at home. |

Name me one game where you gain experience sitting there afk not doing anything.
You also have to look at it this way as well my biggest complaint is you get 2-3 afk people on your side then add in a few useless snipers sitting in the redzone most of the time so then your team is down 5-6 people so it end's up being 16 against 10 or even worse you get a group of 3 that sit in one tank and hide in the back most of the match so it becomes 16vs about 7.
Yes I have been in match's that pretty much follow the example I just gave. Also I always seem to end up on the side with the Afk people  |

enough with this no skill cap bull ****, IF CCP removed the cap the returns for playing a match would go down so you would only get as much as you do now if you where to play 23/7. so stfu about this **** already.
Now on to the subject at hand, you get nothing but deaths counted for as long as you are in the red line. There is no good reason for being there for more then 30 secs a red line spawn ,NONE! whats that you can't see your own red line fine add a blue line to the game to show your own redline. |
