This set should require assault drop suit lvl5 if you can buy it with aurumn. To great of an advantage. |

Requiring LvL 5 kinda defeats the purpose of it. I wouldn't be mad if they changed it to LvL 4 though. |

Is some cases that is true however I know of plenty of people who have 5 or 6 mill sp into assault and now use those aurumn sets and wrecking havoc without having to invest the massive amounts of sp required to attain the proto slot load out. I think it should at least require lvl 4 dropsuit, maybe even be nerfed a bit. Aurumn items should never trump training and skilling into items. |

I'm more concerned with the AUR proto damage mods. No amount of SP can get you the equivalent. |

I seen one last night that was probably the worst yet, he had a proto aurum suit, with just standard weapons and standard modules i dropped him 9 times in my advance suit, there was no need to bring out my Vk1 or Vk0 |

My thoughts exactly. And those that do have the skill to use them already have the ISK variant (because the VK1 is most certainly better) so it is not p2w even remotely.

Proto suits are a joke after the flattening of suits. Get a B series and you're doing just as good. The proto assault gives you one extra equipment slot. Is it worth the 3-4 times price increase? Heck no. |

Once they reach proto level in terms of SP, they will start ditching the aurum suits because it will save them money. |

If you can't/don't want to skill into a particular item ATM. But still want to have access to it. & like others have noted, the suit is only as good as the modules used on it. What's the difference if someone focused on dropsuit skills for a proto suit, & fit it with adv/complex AUR modules? |

Unless they run ISK-negative because they're not willing to use the cheaper gear even on a losing battle where they're hopelessly and undeniably outmatched, in which case they might see the AUR gear as a way to save ISK while still bringing their best gear.
