Just an idea, with regards to the current state of the Missile turret, I'm not saying buff it, except maybe I feel it would make a better area denial turret, as opposed to direct combat,
Main idea -
increase the current blast radius of each missile - make them abit more mass driver blast area and bring the direct impact damage down
give a squad member the ability to designate an area that can be bombarded, same as OB
via the missile turret - flight time etc 5-10seconds, with a reuse timer - 1 min ?
Tank would need to be stationary whilst bombarding,
feel free the thrash out ideas,
I have searched and cannot find a similar thread or post, although if one exists my bad,
Blaster - Close Range
Rail - Long Range
Missile - Area Denial

@ Wojciak, Yeah, more like the hand scanner(new equipment thing) or possibly some form of laser tag, hold on target,
I was thinking that they still have the current ability to engage as normal, but also have the bombardment ability as well, or do you think that would be pushing towards being over-powered,
The other method of balancing this is could be a use limit, so just have it so that the equipment slot item/module is used for the bombardment, like 1 use, I guess extra's could be gained using a supply depot, and on respawn, but the tank turret would have a cooldown/reload timer.

note in Uprising S railguns turrets are getting buffed and L and S missle turrets are getting a change, nothing confirmed if its a nerf tot he s missles and buff to the L or if its a mechanic change (such as lock on).
where did you get this information ?
