Pretty sure I've got the majority of how ISK payments work.
ISK is based on what is destroyed (Suits, Vehicles, Installations), but I cannot work out if we get a fraction of the value or the full amount, the full amount makes a bit more sense considering we're dividing between 16 players. Let's just go with the full amount for now.
Everything has a value, even the BPOs, it all adds to a pool of ISK that is divided by WP at the end of the game. Let's say you got 100% of the warpoints? You get 100% of the cash, but it's impossible to do so unless you're the sole player in a game. (Which actually happened to me once, I went 1v4 and got about 500 WPs, ended up with about 600k ISK from that game whilst running free suits.)
I'm pretty sure every player gets a base amount of income from what has been destroyed, then the rest is divided up based on the percentage of warpoints, which explains why squadmates who have a few hundred WP above me but less kills get more ISK than I do.
What they need to do is make Vehicles more valuable WP wise (When it comes to killing them) so it's actually a valid profession to take up. I feel a Gunnlogi isn't worth 150WP, if anything it's worth double that, each metalevel of vehicle should increase the WPs gained for its destruction as it's quite unfair on the AVer spending that time hunting me down when he could be killing infantry. |

Like I said, it's all based on your contribution to the fight, which is based on WP. A logibro will earn more than an AV player due to the fact he is constantly contributing to the fight, Nanohives, Uplinks, Reps and revivals will bring in massive amounts of WP, but even though an AV player has taken out something of great value, the worth of that is distributed through WP, meaning the Logibro will get all your hard earned cash.
Which is very unfair, destruction of stronger vehicles needs to result in more WP so that ISK can be given to AVers.
Your gear seems to have no effect on the matter other than giving the enemy more money if you die. IF your team runs around in protogear and the others in Militia suits, you'll be getting like, 3000 ISK per kill, but they will get 200k per kill ^_^
The more you look at it, the more it makes sense, I'm pretty sure that's how the division of ISK is. |
