I need numbers, because they are not showing up on Marketplace. Exactly how much damage does one do? I need to determine how many I need to lay down in one spot to take down a well fit tank.

Only the Devs know, and it feels like they have tweaked damage or damage reduction. Or maybe both.

You can go test it if you want to ^_^

otherwise, you can read posts with lots of speculation and no useful information.

Ah, thanks for replying but man that doesn't help me at all. How are Proxy Mines suppose to counter tanks if we don't even know how effective they are against them? I guess I'll use 3 for now.

6 works on most better tanks if you can get them to roll over them, which is really hard because each one gives the driver a loud annoying beeping sound when they are within 20m of it

Umm...why? That pretty much defeats the purpose, why do tankers need a handicap? Are they worth using since a competent tanker obviously isn't going to get caught by them?

are they worth using on HAV, usually no, as a preventive measure to into a complex sure it'll stop anyone who has some time with HAVs theres an area in which to use them or the other method is to prevent a retreat route which you'll need to force them to use. LAVs go to fast and most are free or near free so 1-2(use 2 to make sure) and you will get random kills with them, more so using the preventive measure to HAVs.

so yes they are usefully. on HAVs sort of, you need planning and teamwork to make good use of them, on most LAV almost always as most don't go up the LAV tree for a good reason.
the beeping is to all vehicles, havs are just slow enough not to have to really look first for them.
btw basic do around 1200 advanced 1500 and prototype 2000(haven't have my luck testing so not really accurate)

No idea on the numbers except Protomines are beast and a setup of about 12 mines (6 Advanced and 6 Standard, as you can place a max of 6 of each type down at any one time) Will take out a Sagaris with around 6000 shields immediately. Watched a friend drive my tank with like 8000eHP drive over proto mines and get destroyed instantly.

On my Demo Alt, a single Standard mine will destroy a free LAV, so they must do about 1000 damage a pop, around that anyways.

The beeping sound whilst helps us Tankers, isn't that loud unless you have your sound turned all the way up, and it's great for trapping a tank (Been on the end of it, Forge taking me down, tried to retreat, went over proximines and died.) but the best way to make the Tank run is by a continuous barrage of swarms so he cannot hear the beeping over the explosions ^^
