Some say, that if you increase your health and modules, that you increase your chance for survival. Others say, that if you can out-DPS the enemy, you dont need the extra protection. Which should we choose. |

Choose whichever fits your playstyle best.
That being said, I believe survival is first priority, you can't stop the enemy from sneaking up on you all the time, so it is good to have enough health to make a full turn and blast the wannabe ninja's face off. |

How i look at it is if you have lets say more defensive mods by adding hp and the other guy has damage mods your extra hp helps to survive better of you didnt have them at all. i preferably go for hp mods. i would mix it up more with both hp and damage mods but im not at the level for more slots just yet. |

As someone said earlier, you should choose the route that best fits your style of play. For me the first 2 skills I get to 5 are Weaponry and Field Mechanics. Adds pop to your weapon and gives your more armor HP without the speed penalty. From there I concentrate on circuity, dropsuit, and weapon operation |

Weapons damage will trump more advanced players and their better suits. Shields are great, if you plan on having the ability to outrun bullets while seeking cover. (But, while you hide I'll go clear a path for you for when you're ready.) The best offense is more offense. |

support skills before weapon skills I'd say, a militia AR can still kill someone just like a duvolle. However militia mods won't help you ever. And theres no point in getting all the best mods and weapons if you can't fit them on your suit because you've not got skills in CPU and Power |

Assuming equal-tier Assault suits, and equal-tier ARs, and both players hitting with the same reliability, a suit loaded maxed out on Shield Extenders will survive longer against a suit loaded with Damage Mods than the reverse scenario. You die faster with no extenders against someone with no mods than you do with extenders against someone with mods.
If you work a squad like a party in your RPG of choice, and you have someone set up who can actually reliably draw fire, loading up the other players with damage mods can help more, since you're not getting shot as much anyway. Enemies target the "tank" character who's full of shield and armour buffs, while the rest of the squad opens up with damage-boosted weapons. |

Passives. Staying alive to do other things besides putting your clone at risk, is better for your career. |
