They pretty similar to me
1. set up character
2. run around and try to shoot people
3. die lots
4. repeat
Dust gives me no sense of belonging to a larger universe, no indication that "i made a difference" or any concept at all that they talk about. If I was not told about these these I'd have no, I still have no idea about how any of my efforts in dust made any difference to anything at all to anything.
I dont play many multiplayer shooters but id have to say bf3 craps all over dust in almost ever aspect that is important in a game, I dont really give a crap about OB it does not have any impression of real to me, why do i need WP to get an OB if its apparently player controlled, wouldn't the player just keep OBing the crap out of the enemy as often and as fast as he could?
BF3 is just so much more complete, destructive environment is awesome and fun
The only thing I prefer in dust is multiple character loadouts, I can only have one of each type in bf3
I'd have to say no more dust for several more months

My favorite is COD (keep reading, before posting ) because it allows for quick games to be held and you can carry the team on your back if your team sucks. As well, as the animations are fluid and not choppy. The thing that keeps me from complete dedication is Lag. It is the plague of the game and almost game breaking at times, heck it's the reason I even tried Dust. I like BF3, though, I've never played it because that game is really good for PC, though, fairly lack luster for consoles as I've been told. Due mainly to the lower player cap. Though the recoil mechanics, bullet drop and damage are probably the best of any modern game(that I know of). If I did PC it would probably be my favorite game Dust is OK, though, it has a long way to go as far as Game Play is concerned. It needs better recoil, bullet drop, hit detection, bug fixes etc. The FPS may also need to be improved at some point.

I did it because they are popular games and most of us have played them. This thread is not meant to bash any game. It is meant to see where COD & BF have failed and where the succeeded; to see what Dust can improve on. I did not explain this as being the drive behind the OP because I wanted to get a less biased point of view. The cat is out of the bag.

Most of the weapons seem to have echo and when mixed with the suppression effects can be very immersive. COD - The sounds lack echo and their is no suppression, so the sound quality is somewhat diminished. Though, I still like them because the sound is very rewarding when you kill some one and yet keeps you on your toes when being shot at. if they were added in then the sound would be more up to BF's standards. Dust - Most of the sounds in the game are not very satisfying, frightening nor do they really get me ampped. The only one I can think of is the Forge gun. and maybe the OB's. Most sounds sound like wet noodles

Whoever gets the drop wins. Like it should be.

It was a huge flop because it took up a lot of time, was just a skirmish match that dragged in forever, you usually lost more than you gained, only a few powerful corps ended up controlling everything, only a couple of select people from each competitive corp were allowed to compete by their corp, every corp that tries to get in mow gets steam rolled... So basically P.C is limited and played by a very small minority of people in the community and itis hard to get in. Not to mention that EVE and Dust have yet to get connected. So right now, nothing you do actually matters.
