(X3) Trauma Focus- A dead-mans hand effect that would allow you to shoot for up to 4 seconds after having you dropsuit shields and armor eliminated. Movement speed reduced by 80%, cannot scope, weapon accuracy reduced by 30%
7% probability, 1.25sec duration. Per level.
(X4) Post Trauma Recovery- This one will be huge due to the importance of maintaining clones for PC. As well as add a small chance to do something i know we have all wanted to.
3% probability, for opportunity to inject your self with an equipped Nano Injector, 20% increase to bleed out time. Per level.
Nerve receptor Dampening- Survival skills to keep you clone on the field in bleed out after receiving damage from grenades, Mass Drivers, Forge or Turret splash.
15% per level to survive (phase to bleed out) from AOE damage. |

There was a glitch in the early builds which was basically your Trauma Focus effect, where if you kept the trigger held down while you fell to your death you would keep shooting till your magazine went empty. It basically ended in almost every close gunfight ending in one person dying and then in turn killing the other gun a second later....very annoying. |

In Resistance 2 co-op, there was an ability for the medics to have the chance to revive themselves. It was charged up by getting points in battle.
There should be "abilities" like this in game for each of the different dropsuits that can be leveled up. For instance, assaults should have the ability to run super fast, Logistsics should either have a crazy armor repair bonus or revive from death, heavies should get a damage buffer from all attacks, and scouts should be able to cloak.
All of these are similar to active modules we have for vehicles, and it would be the same kind of mechanic except with a long cooldown that can be upgraded with a skill.
But yes, more skills for when you're downed should be included, especially ones to increase your bleed-out time. |

Not sure about the shooting while downed one but I totally get the last ditch attempt on the revive if you have an injector equipped. Skills like this would be pretty cool, especially ones to increase bleedout time or have a percent chance to get up after a certain period has passed. |

Owch, yeah last thing i had ion my mind was emulating CoD these were just potential RPG elements that i thought if folks invested in would add an extra element to being downed by an opponent. Especially considering the value of clones for PC.
-The dead mans hand element is only a detriment to the CQC lone wolf.
-Feigning death then sticking your self with a needle, that you have on your possession. Does any one see an issue with that? It was in Templar One.
-The guaranteed instant death on all things AOE is asinine. |

I thought these skills sounded more Borderlands than CoD. If you were able to revive yourself, maybe the bleed out time could be mega quick, or even have this as an item. The auto injector? Can't use it on others, you also have only 10 seconds to use it? |

Truthfully that was the inspiration for these skills, however executed in a less cartoonish manor... You cant recover with with a dead mans hand like with Boarder Lands second wind. Your still going to transition to bleed out and eventually die. However you have a few seconds to potentially exact your revenge before your mag runs dry. I suppose if you keep receiving damage during the dead mans hand there needs to be some kind of intake upper limit, should it be hit the clone becomes unrecoverable. Perhaps that way. there is a double edged sword to consider before pulling the trigger on your way to the ground. |
