To the best of my knowledge and as stated previously in this thread, BB left in a huff based upon perceived bias against his person. As to whether such bias existed I for one cannot comment.
Due to the nature of the game, i would rather that BB did indeed commit this fraud thru some plan of action, the alternative: that he was acting from an emotive standpoint, not a good look and not a praise worthy attribute for an immortal mercenary.
From mine own perspective, TSOLE upper management have acted with a fair hand, with neither unfair retribution nor criticism.
Responses from other corporations wishing to throw a negative light upon this event above and beyond its trifling scope, are to be expected, such is the nature of our universe, and the gaining from another's adversity is a sure sign of the parasitic within our human nature.

Personally I believe this situation could not have been handled better......after the fact.
It's true BB brought grief to a few players, both in and outside of the Corp (see: Beld Errmon, who was not wrong in his assumptions of him). However, Beld, I can't agree with your assumptions on Jackal.
It is far easier to be paranoid after an event like this, regardless of the amount of ISK lost, or the impact/lack of impact. But Jackal has kept the trust going in this Corp, and our new security measures have good foundations without anyone feeling like they are being watched or restricted.
BB was a director due to his founding position of TSOLE. There are always assholes on a board of directors, but they still are there for a reason. Admittedly, I think he was given more than enough chances to quit the whining and stop harrassing Corpmates, he should have been demoted earlier. But the fact we have a trusting CEO makes me know that this Corp is far more than a Corp run by politics, its a community supported by all its members.

glad I took the time to read this....
this fool has applied here and sent me mails saying how good he is bla bla bla and that he wants to be with us.
Not that he would ever have any form of leadership here, and not that he has been in ANY kind of consideration (just 1 of dozens who ninja-apply daily), its good to know to never consider him even IF he showed the initiative to get to know us.
And for all the scrubs in here talking down on TSOLE for this unfortunate circumstance, go somewhere else to troll and QQ cause it certainly sounds like they have already recovered from this mishap and is the same as if one of your own 'oG trusted' 'he would never do anything like that' members did this to you.
only lesson to be learned.. don't keep a big corp wallet. no reason for it and avoids the possibility of this kind of thing happening |
