If someone is dumb enough to make a director of their corp without knowing that persons real name and address they deserve what comes to them.
CEO's here me out, would you give a guy on the street your hard earned cash or time without knowing who he is? Nope. you would be a fool, You're a fool now if you have Directors under you and don't know their real identity and addresses.
If they do something worth killing over, you better be able to find them. Time is money, it may be pretend money, but it took real time to acquire those assets.
If your a CEO and do not know the identity of your directors and they do not know yours, you are doing it wrong. And are setting your self up for a easy nova knife in the back.
Also, why keep so much money in the corp wallet? its way, way safer to keep money in the players hands right now. Only carry money in the corp wallet you immediately need. keeping the pot small prevents people from wanting to smash and grab. |

I know that you're trying to fulfill your Imperfects **** post quota for the day, but implying that ANYTHING that happens in a video game is worth killing a person over is downright stupid. Congratulations on the new low.
Well either you value nothing, but if something holds value to you it holds value no matter where it is. I was more saying if you value something allot don't put it where someone can steal it. Don't take it literally. However if someone stole my life savings from my RL bank account and I was the one that gave them power of attorney and they robbed me, then I better be able to get justice, else why did i give them that power? Always watch your back. |

Sadly this is true, the threat of getting hit with a baseball bat in real life is a good reason not to put your hand in the cookie jar. I did hear once about some banking corp in EVE that had all their $$ split between like 8 directors with no corp fund and so when 1 of them obsconded with the money they only got a fraction of it and their bank survived a run when people got filled with panic and I believe it ended well for them.
See, that is just good plain planning, always cover your bases. Smart. You always want 1 foot on the ground. EVE universe is lawless, and if you want to survive lawlessness you have to establish your own law and it has to work and have consequences. |
