What, exactly, do I need to upgrade to get extra slots for my dropsuit? For example: if I want to hold both an injector and the armor fix it tool... How do I go about adding the extra slot to my dropsuit? |

You need to get a better dropsuit or choose a different one. They are split up so that each class can't be the "i do everything" class, although the logi suit kind of can =_=
For instance, heavies do not have an equipment slot so that they need support. |

The class with the most slots for tools is the Logistic dropsuit. You may want to invest skills into unlocking those types of dropsuits if it is a support role that you wish to fill. |

I think you can get a max (higher tier suits) of 4 equipment slots with logistics, 3 with scout, 2 with assault, and the poor heavy is stuck with none for all upgrade paths. If you check out dropsuits on our wiki, you can compare within a suit type to see exactly what slots open up for what suits. I used to have all dropsuits on one table, but it seemed too big. As mentioned, logistics gets the most.
So, raise your skills for the suit type you want in order to be able to use the one you want. Can't add slots to a suit, all you can do is get the skills to use a different suit with the slots you want. |
