I've noticed recently that sometimes on my characters, everything will be going along smoothly, and all of a sudden, I'll be in the middle of a firefight and my guy will crouch and reload at the same time for no reason (I haven't pressed reload or crouch and the clip isn't empty). It seems to be worse on my heavy alt character than on my assault main one.
I had this same sort of bug a while ago where my guy was crouching, throwing grenades, and bringing up the map and/or weapon menu all at the exact same time. I was having similar problems in other games and decided it was the controller, so I got a new one and the problems disappeared. But now they're cropping up again and this controller I have is only like a month old and I haven't experienced this random action taking in other games.
It may be somehow related to the way the L-stick is moving or how hard it's being pressed in any direction, I'm not sure. |

Yes, I do have the Sony Wireless Headset and it used to cause me problems until I manually switched the channel for the wireless internet connection and now it seems to interfere less. There might be some merit to your suspicion, however, since I've been getting that hack-reset thing too lately.
I'll try playing without the headset on today and report back here. |

I didn't really get a chance to test the fix involving the wireless headset, so i'll have to do that today.
I might try that controller fix with my old one that was having some major issues, thanks for the tip. |

I tried not using the headset and it seemed a little better, but there were still some problems, so it may have just been a coincidence.
Then I tried the controller fix mentioned above and so far it's worked great. I haven't had one problem yet with the old controller that used to screw up every couple minutes. Thanks for the help guys.
Problem fixed and not a bug with Dust. |
