If your meatbag is too different from the one you are used to using then it will take time for you to adjust.
Which might explain lag, people getting stuck to walls and all FPS related problems.
Uprising brings us new char creation tool, which means our clones will be pretty. But those might only be 'social clones' and ones we use in battles are the ones described in DUST chronicles.
If we use cheap stock clones then there must be some difficulties for our brain-muscle coordination. At least for a first few deaths.
Lag seems legit.
EDIT: But why almost unbearably huge when I play on US servers? Fix the cross-continent gameplay CCP! |

how does my "not being used to a body" suddenly render my shots invalid? if I empty a submachine gun clip into your spine, you're dead. unless you're saying that my being not used to the body causes my arms to be behind my head when I do this, it does not explain that in the slightest. |

Exactly Bastard, if you can, avoid having a squad leader from different continent until they fix it a bit.

The eyes are spaced slightly differently, distorting your vision, spatial awareness and depth perception. Things aren't quite exactly where you think they are because your vision is wrong.
That headshot you lined up "perfectly" was actually a few metres off, you just didn't realise.
Hence why I think we need a "clone sync" indicator to tell us how accurate our function will be to realistic perception - basically a lore-explained ping indicator. |

That would be pretty good actually, you should suggest that in Feedback/requests. |

save for the part where I said spine. hence my arms having to suddenly be wildly out of whack.
but the ping feature would be nice.
EDIT: somehow left out that I was less than 12 feet out from them at the time. |

So what you're saying is that missing the SPINE by several metres because of your depth perception and spatial awareness being completely out would make less difference than missing their head by the same amount for the same reason?
I'd love to hear how you rationalise that. |
