I think I may have posted this before, but if so I'm posting it again. We should have Mobile Supply Depot modules. There is already a mobile CRU module, so why not have a mobile SD! It would really be a tank module; as dropships sort of can't be on the ground all the time lol. And LAVs should simply not be able to use them, that would be disastrous. (imagines free militia swarm launchers galore) (shudders) Lol.-á
Skills:
-áResupply Systems Operation- Unlocks Vehicle Resupply modules; -3% PG usage per level
Uses 1 Low-Powered Slot and more PG than CPU
STANDARD-RSO Level 1:
Mobile Supply Depot: Resupplies ammo to nearby infantry.-á
ADVANCED-RSO Level-á2:-á
AD-Mobile Supply Depot: Ammo is resupplied faster over a larger area.
PROTOTYPE-RSO Level 3:
PRO-Mobile Supply Depot: Ammo is resupplied even faster over an even larger area, and infantry can change fittings.
Also there should be no AOE-armor regeneration or the vehicle would be virtually invincible. Nor Should changing fittings off the vehicle refresh the fittings HP.

Make it 3 variants.
1. Wider radius, lower resupply rate. 2. Smaller radius, faster resupply. 3. Balanced radius and resupply rate. |

agreed but a DS should be able to use it, some LAVs using it would be fine by me aslong as its not tier 1 LAVs, 1 more thing, only ammo, no switching suits and repping vehicle armor. thats all that I have to add. |

Will the tank look a bit different from ammo boxes on it and what not? I think it would be cool to add a little extra to a tank with this ammo resupply modules on it. Also would this be an active or passive module? It would be cool to see a tank turn on it's ammo resupply module and a white pulse is send out around the tank showing its effective resupply range. |

I would expect an active, also modules (except for activated 1s, when activated, and turrets) don`t change the appearence.

Hmm I'd prefer passive But you know maybe active would be cool.. Such as certain plates off armor flip over revealing nanohives or weapon racks and flip back over after a set amount of time. This would keep people from spawn camping off the tank too. Yes active variation of this would be better. |

I would think this would be a role ability of the SCVs when we get them. I really like the idea, though I personally don't think it is a good idea as a module. I think HAVs are more intended to be the land battleships of Dust (for lack of a better analogy). SCVs will be more like logistics land cruisers or command ship battlecruisers. What I am trying to say is that HAVs should remain the most durable DPS on the ground and leave non-DPS/non-Tank capabilities/modules to the other vehicles.
IDK, it might be because I am half-asleep, it just makes sense to me like that. |
