Once the market eventually opens up then you should be able to. In EVE you can transfer BPOs (which are the permanent items) No idea if its going to be the same in Dust. |

I wouldn't count on ever being able to trade BPOs. Not even when they eventually add the market. Trading normal consumable AUR items is one thing but every trade of a permanent item is essentially lost revenue for CCP. It simply makes no sense to allow for that (trade of permanent items) in a freemium game financed by the selling of consumables.
Or am I just misinformed, have they confirmed that BPOs will be included in the player market? |

Or am I just misinformed, have they confirmed that BPOs will be included in the player market? How exactly will tradable BPOs result in lost revenue?
Someone had to buy the BPO to put it into the marketplace. That means they don't have it on their own character. That in turn means they either bought one for their character, or they bought it without the intent to use it themselves.
EDIT: It's also possible they decided after using the BPO that it doesn't fit with how they thought it would handle. But still, it's an item that was purchased and isn't being used by the buyer except as a source of revenue. |

An assumption made because CCP doesn't permanently bind objects to characters like some other games do. |

If it's anything like EVE, you will be able to sell them and trade them, just like ordinary gear.
They will also be exorbitantly expensive. |

Yes but an unlimited number of consecutive buyers can use it an unlimited number of times even though CCP only ever sees a single purchase. While some of these buyers wouldn't have spent AUR on the BPO others would (but don't if they can get it for ISK instead). |
