CCP remove the soft cap already. How would removing the soft cap fix the SP gap? What do you think the soft cap is that it would result in hitting the cap each week with greater ease?
If you have no soft cap, you reach the overall cap (which would just be the hard cap) easier, because after reaching the hard cap there would be nowhere to go.

I don't mind that someone will make weekly cap in one day instead one and half and spend time grinding sp. Good for them. Normal people just can't play in average for 2 hours every day just to get the SP cap. (2 skirmish match per hour / 7K SP per match)
If ever SP rollover will came, AFK will be even bigger thing than now.
I would rather this than the current system. |

I think another way to reduce this is by having a multiplier for winning and loosing if you hardly get anything for losing then it wont be as beneficial, this may also reduce the red line sniper tanks that sit in places that are un reachable places (in skirmish )

Good idea, I'm in. Probability says overnight you land in half empty, finishing games (especially on Oceania server) so you get the loot. The idea is based on SL activity.
To get even more out of it, squad leaders should make PSN accounts all in Oceania. Then join there from all timezones. This makes the chance of getting quick closing fights very high, and SLs take turns by their timezone for the afk. |

Really? I didnt say it would be faster or that it changes pre cap gains. All I said was that if you have no soft cap you help combat AFK because everyone can reach the cap easier, whether they afked or not.

The cap is reached equally as easily.

With a soft cap, there is no cap. So I hardly see how you reach a hard cap, and a soft cap which never ends, in the same ease. |

oh, ya the gap itself cant really get smaller from that, just sort of maintain it or keep it from growing. Im sure uprising will keep people around enough.
