I don't normally post in threads like this, but I am actually pretty butthurt about them re-using the name.
Uprising was my favorite build to date. It was rough, it was unpolished... but it was exactly what you'd expect from a game in early development. There were things that were broken, and it's almost sad to say that the game was actually the most well balanced it has ever been, back then... Despite all the things that were wrong with it.
The chronological order of builds so far has been
Uprising > replication > E3 > Codex >Chromosome
Strangely enough, that's almost the same order I'd list the quality of builds in, too. |

this thread is a waste of time. What are they going to do? Change the name last minute because it bothers people who are OCD about that crap? Apologize for offending your weird sense of order?

Build between E3 and Codex was Precursor.
I started in E3 day the merc pack came out. I had beta app in before that but didn't here back about till after I bought merc pack.
Precursor came late August it added varients to some of the weapons, it added option for female char but they had no models yet so used the male ones.
I believe it was early October when Codex came out and added the laser rifle and female mercs received new bodies.
Chromosome was mostly bug fixes, and didn't have a wipe, so some people forget about it completely.
The wipe in Jan for open beta used same build. |

Strangely enough, that's almost the same order I'd list the quality of builds in, too. E3 was Precursor.
No, E3 was E3 build in June. Precursor hit august, and Codex very soon September-October. |

Right, right. I totally forgot that Precursor was its own thing because it was so unremarkable. |
