how Many people lose proto suits due to little tiny glitches, today i was going against a militia AR when i got stuck in a little glitch in my proto suit and kept jumping up and down and up and down and i couldn't shoot and i died :( when this **** happens it pisses me off, that proto suit is like 122k isk... :( fix little glitches and wtf is up with gravity in this game, sometimes im trying to get to a higher place when sniping and i loose my shield becuase i feel down 1 cm?? |

That's the price you pay for being a tryhard by running proto in a pub match.

I've been in the Beta since May 2012 and I've yet to touch Prototype gear of any kind, I test too much stuff

To at least address what OP has said, I have also run into this problem. There is some kind of location problem when I try to do things a little too fast and all of a sudden, the game can't decide whether I have a weapon (when I shoot it, it sprays bullets but ammo count is not going down. Hit markers are registering however it is doing zero damage to my opponent), whether I'm in the air or on the ground (the jumping up and down OP mentioned), and where I'm at on the grid (one of my corpmates confirmed this when I asked him where I was and I was about 20 to 30 meters off where my ACTUAL location was. For example, I see myself as being at point A but corpmate tells me I'm at point B which is the "correct" location as that is what the server data is telling my corpmate).
Now I haven't run into this lately, right now I'm fighting the "ammo glitch" (Forge Gun fires a round, hits targets, hit mark registers, but ammo count does not go down, and when I try to reload, it will not let me). However, because these glitches in the game still exist, it's one of the reasons why I won't run a Heavy Protosuit.
OP, I would recommend trying to do some network diagnostics. It may not be on your end and the problem may be with the game internally, but it couldn't hurt to double check all your connections. |
