everything gets worse or just doesnt work
right tumb stick more jumpy lack of gradual turn acceleration (reported back in june last year by meny)
i was in a match today and managed to get an OB (dont know how we got it but we got it) i launched it on an overrun OUT DOOR OPEN objective on manus peak im talking at least 8 reb dots all highlighted on my map by engaging blue dots and squadmates i drop the ob right on top of them and i recieve only 2 kills (WTF) all should of died but no the rest of the reds proceeded to slaughter the blues and take the clone unit and the objective i jsut left the match after that
playing in a squad for some unknown reason make it harder for me to get kills 1/7 2/5 0/5 seams to be my kdr
solo i can go 15/2 16/1 20/4
feel like im QQing now but had the same issues b4 xmas just b4 deployment of precusor and cromosome builds then again b4 the reset in january
has anyone else experianced issues towards the release of a new build that they didnt have after it was launched that later reapeared ?
(not hit cap this week and dont intend to turned the game off i am that fed up with the issues ) |

For the squad thing, the Leader of the squad is pulling you into games with people better than you perhaps. |

happens when im squad leader ( hate standard ambush due to the pub stomping that goes on ) mainly run skirmish or ambush oms wasnt an issue up untill last 2 weeks i was wondering if it was a sever issue like if the squad leader is from the usa does it put us on a us sever?
also doesnt account for the lack of damage like emptying a full clip in a scout running at me with a shotgun for him to 1 shot me (and yes i did hit him) some sort of sync issue?
once may 6th lands and the new build rolls out all these issuse will dissapear again

Yes OP, you're correct.
I don't think it's due to an upcoming patch though, it just seems after a build the game deteriorates with time. The next build comes along and it's better for a while, apart from all the new broken stuff that comes with a new build.
Yes I do just as well if not better solo too, only time I don't is if I'm fighting a squad by myself.
Yes, an American squad leader will take onto NA servers, and oh yes, good luck with that.
There is so much wrong with this game, I honestly can't see May 6th saving it, especially as PC will exclude most of the player base, and lets face it, that was probably the biggest attraction for most who were interested in this game.
May 6th needs to be miraculous to save this crap. |

I can also testify to this problem. I live in Hawaii so internet isn't always 100%, but every other online game I play runs just fine. I have been playing dust since the first closed-beta key release on pshome and through almost every single wipe or patch I start having these same sets of issues over and over again. Just last night I had the no-dropsuits glitch when I went into a game, I haven't seen that for MONTHS |

Ive done a full deinstall of all my games and a reinstall of Dust, this fixed for me my Frame per second lag issues and hit box problems, at the end of it i was playing in 576p to get any sort of FPS remotely playable.
After the reinstall i can play in 720 again without issues, but 2 weeks later now on one map the FPS issue is rearing back in slowly.
Maybe you should try cleaning up the PS3 a bit and reinstalling the game.

It happens, but if you run 4 man squads you should have an OB near the middle of the match, just me and Madlax get an OB each match and we are just a 2 man team. I remember seeing you on the field in the last week.

Might be because you are inherently a defensive based player, and your squad mates more offensive but once the offensive gets overun, you are left standing there to die while the previously offensive people in your team scramble for cover and you take a death because you depend too much on your team when you play with one.
It has taken me 2 months now and a Proto-suit ISK bill to notice that my friend is actually running for his life, rather then fighting for it now that suit costs have gone up, most of the time i was left standing there when a team of 6 breached our position and all i was used for where 5-8 extra seconds of time for my partner to get away while i slowed them down.
If i had been in the same position and relied just on myself, i would have adopted an entirely different gun tactic or would have used a re-treat early on if i could not thin them out fast enough.
Though we are inherently 2 lone wolfs on the field and my score is usually allot better when i solo play because it does not come with extra baggage to think about, thinking slows down your response time by a wide margin and responding blindly to a help request has made me dead allot of times i shouldn't have died if i had just gone on auto pilot instead of brain pilot overriding all my commands.

I came in open beta so i have no comparison with previous builds.

I don't use a router when I play DUST and I never have any major problems. Every once in a while it gets laggy but I think it is other mercs using a router or having a bad connection. If I use the router I have problems, long load times, bad lag, dropped games and freezes. I think DUST killed my first router and gameplay on the new one sucks. Linksys e3200 is a good router and it works great for everything but DUST. |

thanx guys i know its not my internet 20mb broadband using cable not wireless
as some of u suggested a dust reinstall this didnt solve the problem tried this twice im atempting the option of completly formatting the ps3 (using the quick format option first) and reinstalling everything well the stuff i use/play most see if this sorts out the problem
shame i gotta lose all my game saves but dont have a big enuff usb drive and dont own an external hardrive but needs must
would have prefered to beable to back the system up first nvm guess ill have other games to play again to get my saves back now ill let u know if this solves my problems |

Not to mention the 100's of $$$ of games it gives out for free. I used to think they were on rotation meaning you lost them but they are free forever. Megaman 9-10 are included so bam that's 20$ right there, buy 3 months of ps plus instead get games included.
also just look at the list of games they give out, silly how many AAA titles they just give out. |

Actually, they're only free for as long as you keep your PS+ sub active. You can't use them when your subscription expires. |

I've spent months on my tanks, for some jumped up squad leader to take it out with a OB!
I'm glad to hear that they don't always work.
Until you've get every armour, shield , CPU, and power grid going, on that 200.000 tank, you know the lv5 one. Don't expect to be safe from the OB.
It's like a lv1 taking out a proto suit (lv5), it seriously undermines the mechanics of this game. |
