Hello Dust 514 community! i have a little problem that i was hoping you might be able to help me out with. My PSN account was recently banned thanks to my little nephew and his mouth. which means that along with no longer being able to access the psn network from that account i also can no longer access my dust 514 account. now if i had not worked pretty hard on the game i would not mind at all, but i had! and i had also purchased things like the starter kit and the mercenary pack. not to mention i had my own corp with members on it as well. so i was wondering if you would please be kind enough to just transfer my account and the settings to the new one i have created. thank you for your time. |

Hi!
The DUST 514 community can't transfer your account anywhere. We're just players, yo. If we could transfer your stuff, I'd have emptied your wallet by now.
The devs are another matter. They CAN transfer your stuff. They probably won't though because they like to make players cry.
Email them at [email protected] and tell them your sad tale so they can brutally reject your plea. |

you could have put that less harshly, however true your words are. please excuse him, he has a bad case of "bittervetitises" it's a common problem in these parts. |

No problem at all I knew what I was in for when I decided to make the post, and yes although rude he might be right they will probably deny me my account . But I figure why not try anyways. And I thought maybe if I posted in the forums the devs might answer me, thanks for their support email. |

Did CCP say it was just a temporary ban or a permanban? If it was temporary, you just need to wait for the ban to be lifted. If it was permanent, then what was it that your nephew said? |

Well CCP did not ban my account Sony did I called them up and they told me it was permanent! Not exactly sure what my nephew was saying or doing but it must have been really bad to warrant that kind of punishment towards my account. |

While I confess to having never actually read it, I would guess that the PSN user agreement probably states that you will not let others use your account. If so, this would invalidate (in Sony's eyes, at least) any excuse involving nephews, kid brothers, angry lovers, pets, berserk housekeeping robots, etc.
Even if their legalese doesn't forbid sharing an account, this is a good example of why you shouldn't let people use your PSN login, or any other manifestation of your online identity. "No. Make your own. It doesn't take that long."
Of course, I figure permission was probably neither asked for, nor given. If the kid's going to have access to your PS3, may I suggest making the password on your new PSN account something that you can remember, and just going through the hassle of entering it when you log in?
