Since skill points are getting refunded, what is going to happen on the isk side of things?
With new items replacing current racial suits, will the suits/weapons/modules we have in stock right now be refunded at the cost of the isk we spent to buy them? |

I think it's something like this - skills refunded, items, too bad you bought 1000 of those suits you will never use. Wait for market features and resell them.

Any ISK you spent on skill books will be refunded to you since the old skills will be replaced. |

Reason I think the way I do is for one simple reason. CCP has since introduction altered item prices. For example let's look at milita bpo's, they were what 50 aur or something a while back, now in the thousands, scripting to see when a merc bought said item simply is not going to happen.
And if you thought the rage about not getting aur stuff refunded was bad - imagine what happens when I bought 10000 BPOs for 50 aur each, and now suddenly get reimbursed 4000 per BPO.
The items will remain after 6th, skills (some) will come back (prolly at an increased price) hence there's no need to reimburse items while skills there's a must since they changes.
But this is just my theorycrafting.

But they can deal with isk items and aurum items differently with little to no major trouble. Isk refunded based on current inventory. If item was purchased with aurum, delete it. They have a record of all the aurum we have spent. They can then easily delete all aurum items and refund the aurum in one large account based chunk. |

Buy in small batches.
Use up anything before May 6th that you don't think you'll be using again after you respec.
I remember some guy complaining here because he used the Aurum of several merc packs on the Aurum version of the tactical AR which promptly got nerfed. He bought a ton of them. Bad idea. Bad. |

What I guess will happen is all your assets will be refunded; not the things you've used, just the things you still haven't used.
Not sure how "gifts" and rewards and salvage are going to play in that, though... |

Very little chance of this.
Expect to to own the same assets after the patch, that you did prior to the patch.
If an item no longer exists, expect that item to disappear, and you probably won't be compensated for it either. |

TBH, I doubt it too, thanks to the "what happens with Salvage, gifts and rewards" part.
However, I do think they'll do something about dropsuits, due to the split in skills. Either refunding it all (most likely) or having you choose what racial suits you want |

They have a lot of time to make sure that doesn't happen. They said even if a big problem happens they will just roll back the servers to a point where it wasnt a problem |

I'm more worried about individual ISK, corp wallets can be refunded by players without problems but I just don't want to enter in my merc quarters after the update to find that my ISK balance is 0 or restarted to 200k or 500k... |

I'm guessing with the endurance event they are running right up to May 6th, items won't be lost if they still exist in the game. I'm just curious if any of the current items will be dropped from the game and if so, are we going to be compensated? |

i was just going to post on this. i don't have a ton of assault suits, but i do have a decent amount... between all types, i'd say 150 or less, with many of my type A suits coming from salvage. i would just hate to think that after the reset, i might be stuck with all of them (less because i don't plan on restocking what i use soon) if i choose a different race's suit  . |

You have right now stuff that require some skills to play with. Sone you can use some you can't
If you respec in a way that you cant use your current stuff but use somthing else instead how is that CCP"s problem?
In ANNY way you should be able to respec you skillpoint into what is required to use the equipement you already have.

To my understanding they are refunding all your SPs and taking away your Skill Books but they are giving you the ISK back that you spent on the books. |

Can we get a Dev. on here please? I imagine they would know the answer to this.. All I want to know is:
1.) Are we going to lose our entire wallets AGAIN? I have 25mil that I have been maintaining for some time and would hate to see go.
2.) Are we going to lose all of our corporations isk? And if CCP doesn't wipe that can all members put their cash into THAT wallet, maybe even just a one-way transaction?
A way I can see for us to get around the issue of unbalancing the game based on past money would be to keep the conquest packs at the same price but to raise the rest of the economy, all the weapons, vehicles etc. as they plan to do anyway. Also, if they DO wipe all our $$ then what are we supposed to buy the first clone packs WITH? We still would have to re-spec to get the corp levels up to buy them so what would we be left with? |
