Recent advances in technology has now paved the way to making unique modifications for vehicles. One of the new ideas brought up by an Amarrian suggested adding a modified Drop Uplink to the driver seat of any ground or aerial vehicle in order to beam out the current driver in cases where the mercenary is either in danger of dying or is deemed unworthy of being in command of the vehicle. Note: When the vehicle's owner is not in command of the vehicle, the built-in device can be accessed with the use of dropsuit commands to "eject" the current user.
Early prototypes, however, does not allow friendly mercenaries to directly spawn in the vehicle and the built in device can be disabled by the enemy if the vehicle is hacked.
So umm... It REALLY would be great to have this feature since there's still many friendly players who steal other's expensive vehicles just to get blown up. |

I think vehicle locks should fix this problem. If you leave your vehicle unlocked, then it's your dumb fault if someone runs off with it. (I believe devs have said they're working on vehicle locks.) |

I'll keep saying what I've been saying for 7-8 months now:
Dont call in vehicles unless you're certain there aren't a blueberry around, who might steal it.
If someone steals your LAV/HAV/DS, it is your own fault - you called in the vehicle in a match where you should know you cannot trust the people around you, and you either did it in a place that obviously wasn't safe, or you parked and left it in a place where there were people you knew to not trust. |

My tank is on fire and I already used my active rep. I go out to use a repair tool but suddenly one my gunners takes the driver seat. You sure I could avoid ALL the friendlies trying to get in my tank? |

You sure I could avoid ALL the friendlies trying to get in my tank? Yup :
- Don't spawn the tank in a public match, where you do not know the others
- Have a support LAV operated by a squad-mate, that includes remote-repper
- Have a squad-mate in the HAV, with a repair-tool
- Stop getting shot up
Also, if your HAV is still on fire after using the active repper, you're probably still being shot at, and your HAV is going to blow up. |
