Just wondering what tanking will be like after the respec. Will we see a lot more tankers? Will shield tanks get a buff and/or armor tanks get nerfed? And most importantly, will we see more tanks to buy or new modules or turrets? |

Right. Which is why you need a good corp that will fund a tanker. Tanks are going to be key for PC when it gets released. |

It will take about 4m for a standard DS or HAV, and more if we get the pilot suit. I'm betting that you would want to start out with the ADV model and that will chew up what SP you have left. That means anyone with less than 6m would risk going broke quickly if they went directly for vehicles.
Well I'm going to go for tanking 1 way or another. Period. So it looks like every one is saying that HAVs will cost a hell a lot more SP and AV is still going to be OPed. Do you guys think we will see less or more AV in the next build? Shihids, I'm interested in this pilot suit you mentioned. Any rummors of new tanks or turrets?

I am at 7M SP, of which ALL went to tanks and I maxed all my core skills, have proto blasters, surya, gunloggi, shield modes and such. If you have 4.5 M SP you better stay at ADV blasters and do other stuff first.
Well I was talking about next build and according to other guys its going to take a lot more SP to go into tanking. By the next build I should be around 6 million SP. |
