That was you? You lucky son of a gun. The reason why is because I modified my LAV and switched out the repper for a militia plate, just so it can take a forge gun hit or packed AV hit and still keep rolling. You must have hit that cockpit just right.
This is also what I hate about armor tank LAVs. Why do the pilots and passengers have to be even /more/ open to being shot out? Seriously, you can see and shoot at the entire body from the side, and the front provides no more cover than the shield variants.

I've shot the gunner out of a DS several times, shot the driver out of an LAV, shot the gunner out of the LAV, and my personal favorite threw an AV grenade at an approaching LAV and hit the driver in the head with it killing him instantly. Got to roll around in his Guristas Saga after that one, fun times.
You run Forge, or just AV in general, long enough and crazy stuff is going to happen. This is DUST after all. But it wasn't all luck since that means you did hit more or less the center of the target. So some awesomeness in it as well. |
