Having played with many rail tankers, they can be quite useful even when then enemy doesn't have any armor out. Taking out CRU's, Turrets, and Supply Depots make it easier to take and keep objectives as you can't count on the blueberries to do anything but lose. They provide valuable wps for orbitals and can take out pesky snipes which the infantry have found and relayed back to them. It also deters the enemy cherries from bringing out their own armor (unless they actually know what they're doing).
All of this is based on them being in a squad and all have mics, if they don't then they are really just Lone Wolfing it. |

Once a redline sniper, always one. The last time I ran a railgun take I was the DM to compliment lurch and ted, I never stayed behind the redline for more than the time it took to drive out. |

Not if they're a soldier, or a police officer or something. We aren't soldiers, we're playing video games. You can say you respect another player or a corp, but at the end of the day you're still talking about a video game, and anyone who takes video games too seriously probably has issues. |
