last year during a presentation at fanfest they showed hostile planets. the map was a lava planet with a huge canyon. also we used to have an amazing map called crater canyon with epic cliffs. when will extreme terrain and extreme heights be put in(again) |

what they said was that we're getting a day/night cycle so the same map at night might look different at sunrise. |

I imagine we'll be seeing a lot of new terrain (same kind though) in Uprising, since we need maps for all the districts on all the planets that we'll have access to. |

right now we're testing terrain and stuff. when full release comes there will be something that randomly generates all the districts in new eden so there will be literaly millions of maps at full release |

Yes I now that, I was on fanfest and saw the presentation, as long as its not a million different variations of todays map. That is what I am worried about. |
