There is nothing, NOTHING, more important to a video game than the controls. It could be the most beautiful, well thought out, engrossing and vivid game ever made. But if it has horrid control schemes or the controls don't react precisely to what you are doing on the HID, then it is crapo.
We need to tell CCP that controls matter and they need to work on them NOW, not SOONGäó.

No they aren't. I play southpaw, I have played southpaw for 20+ years, since the creation of the FPS genre. Therefore not having a southpaw control scheme to me is like having controls that do not work. Luckily for CCP I can use a KB/M or I would of already written DUST off as just another crap FPS that doesn't need my business. I would like to be able to sit back in my recliner though and play with a controller on my TV. Until a southpaw scheme is released I have to play with a KB/M or not at all. |

The controls work whether they are to your liking or not, no matter how you spin it, function and preference are still different things; just because you don't want to learn a different control scheme temporarily until alternate controls are added does not mean that those new controls don't work.
Controller remapping and changing should definitely be in the game, but it isn't nearly as big of a deal as many of you would make it out to be.
