So not so big news ContrabanJoe is making a new corporation from certain PRO members. The new corp is called "Operatives of the Goat". (Yeah! goats... so cool.)
This is because PRO (Planetary Response Organization) has gotten such a bad rap across the community that Joe is looking to change it, Joe has personally said that the main reason he is changing the name is to weed out people without UVT, but he has also said he is doing it to get rid of the now tainted PRO name, and give it a much needed makeover. He is still keeping his larger corp because he has realized that a large corp is only good for 1 thing in the new world of Planetary Conquest, getting all the cash he can off of them.
Joe said he would raise the lost $300 million by himself, but that was not true. All weekend long weekend he convinced large groups of PRO members to fight battles together against each other, in free suits, and donating all the cash they got in order to replace the cash he had lost. If he himself earned 10% of the lost cash, I would be surprised. The surprising thing is Joe has many many people that would jump into a volcano for him, and he knows it.
So now he moved the best and most important part of PRO into a new corp, which is not part of test alliance, which means he is now having to kiss some A**. in order to get that corp into the Test Alliance, and he has met some resistance. Weather he succeeds still remains to be seen, but without the backing of Test Alliance. Joe will have little Orbital Support in PC.
With the new corp comes new Directors, for this new corp Joe has picked Thehighguy, LordToilet, Sum1else, yruphct, Mechanicus Lupus, and one of Joe's personal separate accounts. Possibly snubbing Sev Kemura his highest ranked corp member.
Also PRO's numbers have dropped drastically, losing at least 300 members since this weekend, and losing many key members to corps such as the Pink and Fluffy Team. It seems they have put that $300 mil Joe "gave" them to good use stealing key members from not only PRO, but SVER True blood as well.
So as Joe scrambles to keep the power he had on the playing field, the VERY militant Pink team is slowly grabbing everything they can. The only problem with the bunnies, from what I hear is that their Corp. is more like "Watership Down" then the cuddly Easter bunny.

OH there may be Directors but make no mistake this is a True Dictatorship run by Joe and only Joe. The directors job is basically to do what Joe says. |
