There is a skill reset next build. As was stated in the podcast this is because "people have invested in a skill they may not have if the full options were there"
This is fair, but all talk is of drop suits. I have 3 simple questions :
1) Are we going to get a HAV/LAV/drop ship for each race before com-release?
2) If so, are there a full range of racial HAV/LAV/drop ships in the next build i.e. an Amarr DS and tank?
3) If they are not in the next build, when they do get added will I get another skill reset so I can spec into the one I wanted to had it been available?
e.g. I want to use Amarr dropships. If they are not in the next build I will have to spec into whatever is. Like this reset the same logic applies next build. I have been forced down a road I would not have chosen had the full range been available.
For the Trolls :
I can't test drop ships unless I spec into them. SO I cant just hold onto the SP and wait. Beta=testing, not DS spec no testing which leads to fail-ships on release. SO don't tell me to hang onto the skill points. |

I'd be surprised if we get them in May. Hell, I'd be surprised if we get them by commercial release. As I understand it there were only two factions ships available in EVE at release.
Don't get me wrong, I share your interest. I've been putting all my SP into core skills (Shield Control V is probably less useful than Caldari HAV I, but that's what I trained) because I'm holding out for Amarr vehicles and laser turrets. But we vehicle users have to accept that we're not really high priority. They have a lot to get working for the infantry try-hards. But we'll get our day. |

Also ask the question
Will we get proto tanks?
And to the ppl who are going to say 'BO HAV are proto' no they are not they are a sub catagory of HAVs |
