Not the Iron Man suits we are wearing that somehow project a barrier made out of pure energy to stop bullets, or the fact that once your armor breaks a single bullet will kill you, even if you are being shot in the legs, or somehow a beam of energy from a repair tool creates armor from nothing to replace the armor you lost?
You disappoint me sir.
P.S.- Speaking of clips, you forgot that once you reload a gun that has a bullet in the chamber, it should total up to be 61, not 60.
Just for fun.
We are in a hostile environment where suit decompression is lethal.
Duh, nanites can't flow without a twin harmonic beam at resonance. Come on now.
Our shields are an electromagneticly stabilized plasma field that acts like a non newtonian fluid thus slowing high velocity projectiles. Forth grade stuff here people. Plasma Physics Level 4 is recommended.
Spray and prey mercs shot till empty.
I want to know where all the stuff you are not using (equipment and stuff) comes from and goes to when switching between them. Is is some type of mini WH or cloaked armory drone? Have you seen the size of a nanohive? |

Where do missiles come from? These are tough questions that some of our greatest minds are working on.

Eventually you'd cycle back to the light ones. Heaven forbid you were in a bad spot.

You have infinite nanites because of the conservation of energy. The repair tool reverses e=mc2 to turn energy into matter. This is why the repair tool has such high PG. The construction nanites build repair nanites out of the matter made by the tool. The nanites then ride the resonating beam to the the damaged suit to repair damage.
See that series of words makes perfect sense. |

Capacitors store energy in the form of an electrostatic charge. Maybe the suits have carpet between the legs to generate static electricity while they run.
I loved the the half empty mags because you did have to pay attention to you mag and rate of fire. |

Plasma = ultra heated gas. Due to the laws of thermodynamics, this plasma would lose its heat very quickly. If everyone stood in the MCC for five minutes, the room would basically be a room of plasma. And if it was a barrier of pure energy, it's been pointed out before that it would be less energy intensive just to use the same technology to deflect the incoming munitions. Either way, it's just a game!
Plasma (from Greek -Ç+++¼-â+++¦, "anything formed"[1]) is one of the four fundamental states of matter (the others being solid, liquid, and gas). Heating a gas may ionize its molecules or atoms (reducing or increasing the number of electrons in them), thus turning it into a plasma, which contains charged particles: positive ions and negative electrons or ions.[2] Ionization can be induced by other means, such as strong electromagnetic field applied with a laser or microwave generator, and is accompanied by the dissociation of molecular bonds, if present.[3]
The presence of a non-negligible number of charge carriers makes the plasma electrically conductive so that it responds strongly to electromagnetic fields. Plasma, therefore, has properties quite unlike those of solids, liquids, or gases and is considered a distinct state of matter. Like gas, plasma does not have a definite shape or a definite volume unless enclosed in a container; unlike gas, under the influence of a magnetic field, it may form structures such as filaments, beams and double layers. Some common plasmas are found in stars and neon signs.

EvE is real. Don't forget it.
Lots of things from Star Trek were thought to be impossible but we have a good bit of them. No transporters, spaceships or laser guns.
We do have impulse drives, hand held medical devices, lasers that can destroy things, tablet computers and personal communication devices. I am not being an ass but sci fi fantasy does affect the real world and bring about technology and change. There are more but a bigger list would make me a douche.

Thanks, I love sci fi and regular science. These types of games should have a feel of real life and fantasy. The nerd in me says the more real the better but I know real isn't that fun so I will take what I can get. |
