In the opening movie the Caldari were the ones who found the clone technology. Then it shows a Caldari guy making plans with the Amarr girl on how to use it. Then it shows Amarr clones dropping out of a ship. ????????? |

No, really, Jovians developed the capsule/clone technology (the first respawn method). They gave the tech to the Caldari for who-knows-what reason and then I think it was CONCORD that proceeded to leak this to the other empires.
Now, I am sure you speak of the OP vid in the game. Thet first to find the technology to make clone soldiers were the Amarr (the woman featured there is their Empress). The Amarr heavies dropping are very likely the Templars. But then, the chronicles and news and "lore" say that the Caldari got access to the first clones and reversed them to make the second generation as well as the third generation. From what I have gathered, it seems as though the other empires had been working on their clone projects at nearly the same time or maybe were racing to reverse engineer the Amarr clones. |

Mordu's Legion acquired the individual Templar One, an individual outfitted with an immortality implant by the Amarr, and was able to reverse-engineer immortal soldier technology.
They proceeded to spread immortal soldier tech through the four empires to avert the inevitable genocide that would have occurred if only one or two empires had been given access to immortal clone tech. |
