You're doing it wrong. I've seen Gunnlogi blaster-fit survive entire matches because they knew when to run away and when not to. How do I know this? Hell, I've thrown my AV nades at it and seen only a small sliver of its shield go before I was blasted into oblivion.
That was a single AV nade. It took that long (me throwing, it hitting) for it to spot me, turn its turret, and kill me.
Tanks are not meant to lone wolf. You're meant to support infantry, and infantry is supposed to support you. If there's AV nearby, the best thing to take it out is infantry. If there's infantry nearby, the best thing available to take it out is you. Got it? |

Surely if they're behind cover throwing AV nades at you... You move?
If they're using a swarm launcher, then again, move so they can't see you. Surefire way of *not* taking damage - don't let them see you.
Forge gunner's even easier - they're very slow, and you can take them out before they get back into cover. |

Stop whining. Seriously, if you ever came on the forums AT ALL, you'd know how many times this thread comes up. "AV is OP, nerf it" or "Tanks are UP" or SOMETHING along those lines.
For kitten's sake, I don't care if you think your personal opinion matters more than any of ours, because that's just narcissism and being self-absorbed, but the VERY LEAST you could do is use the kittening search engine at the TOP OF THE KITTENING PAGE to search for this exact thread which has been posted at least fifteen times in the last two weeks.
Stop being such a prat and use your own initiative once in a while.
Also, this thread, IF SERIOUS, belongs in a different subforum. Should go in feedback and requests, not general discussion. |
