Just a small crate that rearms players with equipment (As in hives, Remote explosives and the like). supply depots are nice but they're far, few between and even nonexistent on some game modes.
They could be destructible and have limit number of items to keep them in check.

I could see something like that working. Make it a deployable in the vehicle menu that lets you choose where it gets deployed. Downside of dropping it is that it resupplies everyone in range and has no FOF ID between sides. Say the number of nanite clusters in ten times that of a normal nanohive and has extended range.
Could even make it a vehicle module so LAVs have more use than just rapid ground transit. |

Maybe after a squad gains X amount of WP they could get the chane to call for said care package. |

I though about having them cost WP to call in. imo just give them a good Isk price tage. That and the eccentric nature of the RDV should prevent abuse. besides, it's not like we nedd wp to call in anything other than OB's |

I feel like this nerfs Logi play. Though it is cool and a good idea. I don't like it just because it takes away support from another player. Unless of course only a Logi could make the call down. then yea sure whatever. |

I know just what you mean. What im thinking is that this crate would only refit drop suit fits. sure if an assault wanted to rearm or if a heavy wanted to get his armor back they could. but they could only do this so many times (3 to 5 per container [just throwing carp at the wall here]) before it was depleted. therefore, you would get more bang for your ISK to let a Logi bro refit and replace his triage/amo hives.
TL;DR Aperture science is still trying to fit nano hives inside a nano hive |

We will be getting the ability to call in installations, I.E. supply depot's. I like the idae, but i think that its uneccessary once we can call in supply depots, and turrets, and CRU's, and all that. |

I've been wondering about that too. I have a suspicion that we will only be able to call in installations on to hard points on the board. If this isn't true and we can just call them down where ever we want then i agree. |

I'm actually quite surprised as to how many people are agreeing to have some form of care package dropped onto the field. I'm sorry but this isn't Call of Duty, you already have care packages dropped onto the field and this is done by a Logi Bro, he carries these items around on the field. The only thing I would recommend is playing this game as a squad, you might like playing solo, but playing this game as a squad is how it is meant to be done and that will solve all your issues in receiving resupplies, etc. during the game. |

I do play in a squad . when I'm not networking in LRA or any of my other chats I'm playing squad roulette with blue berries in pub matches (way more fun then it sounds). Nano hives are great; belive me, I have my nano circuitry to 5. the problem at hand is keeping Logi bros stocked up so that they can keep there teammates armed and ready. At the most a decent Logi fit can hold 6 amo hives(1 STD and 1 PRO gaged nano hive and a good logi ALWAYS has an injector) a squad that is always on the offensive can eat through that in no time. VK.0 logis will have less of an issue with 4 EQ slots but they can only carry a max of 8 on the field at once.
I'm aware that CoD was one of the first game to implement such a feature. That just means it's a good idea from a bad game. |

I'm seeing something like a module for vehicles to activate that makes them a "mobile-nanohive" that stays on for X amount of time over a certain radius around said vehicle would be more feasible. Granted you are dependent on someone that you probably aren't linked up with, but I can see it being very popular among LAVs and those things are EVERYWHERE. Also, this is WAY different than anything CoD-like and I figure the more distance between Dust & CoD the better....good ideas CAN come from that stink-pile tho... just my 2 ISK.... |

I say just give vehicles finite ammunition. It might reduce the rate at which the supply depots get blown up by drivers if they need 'em, too.

this isn't COD/Black ops...........its a whole different game, so stop trying to make it into that. squad members can carry ammo, armor repair and can revive you. that's what they are there for!.... |
